Love Hair Colour?
2010
“Yes” you cry? Well you’re in the right place – we do too!
We’re a team of hair colour experts from Schwarzkopf, creators of the fabulous LIVE XXL and new Palette ranges and are here to help with any of your hair colour queries.
We decided to start this blog after a conversation with some pals (admittedly Pinot-Grigio fuelled) and were amazed to hear that they were too scared to colour their hair and still resorting to extortionately priced salons to get a single colour tint (£60 versus £3.49 for a home hair colour kit – we’ll leave you to work out how much fun could be had at the Selfridges beauty counter with the difference!)
We do understand why people can be colour cautious, even at Love Hair Colour Quarters we’ve had some rather dodgy dos; Sun In (holiday in Kavos, 1997), leaving the colour on too long (pitch black goth, 2004), red hair streaking incident (2001), peroxide mix-up in shared bathroom (1999). However all these nightmares are completely avoidable and completely unnecessary.
So whether you’re a creative colourista, a dabbling dyer, a timid tinter or just considering a colour change, here at Love Hair Colour we promise to provide you with expert advice and keep you ‘a-head’ of the latest hair ‘how tos’, the hottest colour trends, celeb fashions, new products and reviews.
As it’s our first post we thought it would be apt to start by providing a run down of exactly why we Love Hair Colour!
- It can transform you from dreary to diva in approximately 30mins regardless of whether you’re having a ‘fat’ day, have ‘nothing to wear’ or can’t get to the hairdressers.
- It covers all those really annoying wiry grey hairs that spring up from no-where (since the age of 28yrs for some here at Love Hair Colour quarters -eek!)
- It makes a statement and gets you noticed! See Jane Goldman, Pink! (back when she was), Florence Welch and Love Hair Colour’s ultimate hair colour queen – Marilyn Monroe.
- It’s fun and you can change it whenever you want – see Scarlett Johansson (blonde, brunette and blonde again), Rihanna (a recent red head) and Li-Lo and Ashley Simpson (we can’t keep up with these two!)
- Emma here loves the smell – we’re a little worried about her!
- It’s easy to do and can cost as little as £3.49 to get a whole new you.
We’d love to hear from you too! Share your hair colour stories, tips and comments and if you need any advice from what colour to use, to how to apply we’re here to help!
