On Sunday 10 April 2011 at the Grand Final of our nationwide competition Street Dance: The Search, eight wannabe street dancers from across the UK were plucked from obscurity by top celebrity choreographer Sisco Gomez to be part of our new street dance crew – atti2ude!

The eight members of atti2ude! are Jordan O’Neill, Mark Gauden, Anthony Love, Kirsty Allen, Martyn McLoughlin, Emma Smith, Chantelle Richards and Annesha Parkinson

The contestants beat off hundreds of other young hopefuls to receive a place in the new street dance group, along with a £10,000 joint contract and expert training from the best in the business.  We joined them in the days after the Grand Final as they took part in chorography masterclasses with Sisco, and we watched them transform with hair and style makeovers from the LIVE Color XXL and got2b experts.
Sisco said: “We’ve seen some fantastic dancers during our UK-wide auditions for Schwarzkopf’s Street Dance: The Search. It’s great to be able to give upcoming talent an opportunity to break into the industry and support the dance talent this country has to offer.

“I’ve been putting atti2ude through their paces to ensure they become the best dancers they can be and start their journey to success.”

Sisco Gomez, who has worked with the likes of Madonna, Kylie and Pink and is currently a judge on BBC’s So You Think You Can Dance, led the judging, along with Britain’s Got Talent’s Tobias Mead, StreetDance 3D movie star Brooke and B-Girl Roxy.

atti2ude, a name chosen by the fans of the Street Dance: The Search fan page, will be starring in their very own video, due for release on 5 May 2011, and will showcase their performance at some of the UK’s biggest street dance competitions.

Over the next week, we’ll be posting biographies on each member of atti2ude so you can get to know them a little better!
